The “obvious” way to handle translation is also the most expensive — if you send completed KII documents for translation you’ll probably pay by the page, despite the fact that so much text is shared.
With KiiDocs, you benefit from storing (and translating) shared text only once, as described in "Content Management".
Although a KII document must be reviewed and updated at least once per year, the changes required from year to year are likely to be minimal, affecting only small parts of the KII document.
The KiiDocs system tracks any changes to the original version of each piece of text, and automatically flags the changed text (and only the changed text) for translation.
Thus, KiiDocs can reduce the cost of translation both initially when the KII documents are first produced, and every year thereafter.
Note that while the KiiDocs system gives you somewhere to store the translated text, and supports the translation workflow, it does not automatically translate the text. You can use your preferred translation agency, or we can recommend one.
